Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)
An officer who is declared Inspector under various labour laws applicable to the Industry / Establishment is required to conduct inspection under all Labour Acts applicable to the industry/establishment visited. Inspection Scheme is available under – Ease of Doing Business.
The Inspector shall verify the copy of license, registration certificate and other statutory documents, records/registers of the factory maintainable under all labour Acts applicable and examine the employer, employees/workers.
The Inspector shall prepare the Inspection report by filling up the prescribed Inspection Format and issue the same to the employer under intimation to his higher authority within 48 hours.
